There are not so many games for PlayStation 2, even few those that are worth to be played. If you have a PlayStation 2 console and you are looking for good games, maybe the best ones, YouTube is the best place to take knowledge of them by searching “best PS2 games” or similar keywords.
SSX 3 is the number one game from tops, from most videos found on YouTube.
The game is fun overall, it is about snow skating, you have your character and you can enjoy some maps, around 3 for start until you unlock more from the campaign mode. The game is only fun when using “infinite boost”, or else is very slow, you have to do tricks to get to store some boost resource.
From these three maps, only the city one is fun, the other two are pretty boring. Another issue is that if you play with unlimited boost, you have to keep the square button pressed all the time which is not fun again.
The music is great, there are some awesome tracks, rock, pop, great for the atmosphere.
The best game for PlayStation 2? Maybe the best considering SSX3 as a short game, God of War of Final Fantasy X are definitely more fun but these are requiring hours of playing. We will be back with more PS2 games soon.
