21.09.2011

Motorola will release next month, smartphone named Motorola Fire that can be considered a serious rival for the Samsung Galaxy Mini because of the cheap price and also because it has pretty much the same tech specs while it is using a newer Android version, Android Gingerbread 2.3 and also supports Adobe Flash.

Motorola Fire will be released at the start of October

Specs: it will use just a 600 MHz processor, 256 megabytes RAM memory, 150 megabytes internal memory, can use a Micro SD card that can store up to 32 gigabytes of data.

The screen has the same resolution as Samsung Galaxy Mini, 240 x 320 supporting 256k colors. The big difference is that Motorola Fire has a querty keyboard on the bottom half.

Now the question, is it better than the Samsung Galaxy Mini? Probably yes because of the more advanced Android version and the Adobe Flash support but has the disadvantage of having the querty keyboard that can be a turn off for some users that are just looking for a modern device.

Motorola Fire is using a 1420 mAh battery, can last up to around 600 – 700 hours in stand by mode.

This smartphone is a great for buying a cheap device that runs Android, can already be pre-ordered, the price will be around 100 – 150 euro for Europe, the unlocked version.
