According to some Czech gaming website, 2K Czech is currently developing the third title from the Mafia series, a game that will continue the story from the point where Mafia 2 has ended.
There are no screenshots or videos at this time, only a vague release date for consoles, Xbox 360 and PS3, somewhere in 2013.
No word yet regarding a PC version but not releasing a PC version will be very strange considering that the first two Mafia games have targeted the PC playerbase.
Mafia 3 will be released after three years since Mafia 2 was released and eleven years since Mafia: The City of lost heaven (the first title from the series). These two games had nothing to do each other regarding the storyline except a small mission from Mafia 2 that those who finished the first Mafia game were happy to see.
