If you are stuck at Act 1 Inferno and you lost hope for Act 2 progression since your gear is decent and very good gear require insane amounts of gold, there is a way of farming gold, you can get around 10k gold in less than 5 minutes.
You can get around 100k – 150k per hour. This can be great since a run until Leoric can give you just around 50k or more and require a few hours to finish.
Requirements. You need to be level 60, to have finished the first part of Inferno, have at least 200% gold find at stats.
You can get any gear with any stats as a barbarian, you can run even with intelligence or dexterity items from auction house as long as this gear has “% extra gold from monsters”. Stack every piece of gear with this stat, with around 200k gold you can buy almost all your gold finding gear from auction house and reach at least 200% gold find.
How to farm the gold and where to farm it? You should have unlocked from the portal, “The Royal Crypts“, is the place that follows Leoric’s quest, inside the cathedral.
You can notice that there are many bodies on the ground, those urns with ashes. There are many. Destroy them all and with a good amount of gold finding percent, they will drop gold, even 1k – 2k from just an urn or a body.
Notice that this type of farm will require less than 5 minutes (for a run), requires no other gear since you can avoid mobs (white skeletons). You don’t need to run all the area.
Don’t go beyond this point (after the first big room from the right), you should only farm the destructible objects until here.
Last tips, get a companion with you, you will get even more gold, you should take the skills for your companion that can AOE the environment so it will be easier to destroy these objects.
In a short time, you will have enough gold to gear up for Act 2 and further.
