Final Fantasy VII to be released soon in a new format

04.07.2012

Some good and bad news for the FFVII fans, Square Enix is planning to release Final Fantasy VII in a new format using the same old graphics from 1997, nothing new except achievements, no more than 36 achievements to unlock, who would have thought?

Cloud saves feature, meaning that you can play FFVII at home, go somewhere else and continue from the same point you where when you left your home. Good idea but, but..
Character booster, an in-game cheat that will help you pass some mobs or a boss at any time. Works like a god mode cheat for video games.

Other than these three features, Square Enix did not said anything about when the game will be available, we can see only the “coming soon” announce on their official website (http://finalfantasyviipc.com/en) and also that the game will be only available through Square Enix’s store.

No news about graphics or improved music, we will see the same pixelated graphics and hear the same midi tunes, not that it is a bad idea but probably a remake with better graphics would have been better.

We also have some system requirements, they are really poor, 2 GHz processor, 1 gigabyte RAM memory, a DirectX 9 compatible video card. The game will run fine on any Windows operating system, XP, Vista or 7.
