Here is a small tutorial that is explaining how to setup a LAN connector for a Router connection (not Peer to Peer).
Follow these steps. Cut the LAN cable with a cuter just to get rid of the first layer of the cable.
The small cables should remain in good condition, be careful not to cut them.
With a pliers, cut the small wires on their end, making sure that they will have the same sizes.
After checking that all the wires have the same size, align them in this color order from left to right: White + Orange, Orange, White + Green, Blue, White + Blue, Green, White + Brown, Brown.
Once the small wires are aligned, get them together and insert the LAN connector with the clip facing the ground. Push the small wires until they will stay steady in there.
Get the LAN pliers, insert the LAN connector in it, make sure to insert it in the correct position. Grip the cable, hold it tight and press the LAN pliers hard.
Push the LAN connector out with the finger, slowly and carefully as taking it out harsh might damage it.
Repeat the same process for the other side of the LAN cable.
