This is the second event organized by Athene (youtube.com/athenewins), a PVE event for charity where all the money raised from the donations will cumulate to the ones from operation Sharecraft, a charity movement that is trying to raise 1 million dollars for the kids in Africa.
Four top guilds will try to complete the Dragon Soul Heroic raid, in World of Warcraft. It is actually a speedrun. These top guilds are Blood Legion from US, Exorsus from Russia, Paragon (EU team) and Stars from China.
The live stream with the PVE event will start today, 12 May at 6pm CEST (that means 4 hours from now).\
All the money that will come from those who will watch the live stream (donations), will go for operation Sharecraft, “gathering donations and raising awareness around the Horn of Africa’s worst hunger crisis in 60 years”.
Dragon Soul is the last raid for this expansion, Cataclysm, these four guilds will have to clear all the eight bosses, Morchok, Warlord Zon’ozz, Yor’sahj the Unsleeping, Hagara the Stormbinder, Ultraxion, Warmaster Blackhorn, Spine of Deathwing, Madness of Deathwing.
Besides the money going for the donations, three of these four guilds will also earn money from “Athene’s pocket”, 2.000 dollars for nr. 1, 1.000 dollars for nr. 2 and 500 dollars for nr.3. The forth team will not gain money.
