Diablo 3 is starting, Live Stream!

14.05.2012

Diablo 3 is about to start, just 1 hour and a half left, the stream starts now and will keep going until late during this night. There will be comments also.

We do this again as we did with the open beta weekend organized by Blizzard almost a month ago.

The stream is available through own3d.tv. We will be back tomorrow and update this post with opinions about how the game started, how Blizzard managed to keep the servers up for this major gaming event of 2012 and how the game is different than the open beta.

Updates.

Diablo 3 has been officially released. I got stuck at the “authenticating credentials” or I’m getting an error saying that the server is busy, error 37 (The servers are busy at this time. Please try again later). “There was an issue with the service. Please try again (Error 1).

Still trying to connect, seems that nobody can login at this time, if we check reddit.com/r/diablo3, the “new” section.

Blizzard blue post from the official Diablo 3 forums. (posted 37 minutes ago).

“Due to high concurrency the login servers are currently at full capacity. This may cause delays in the login process, account pages and web services.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience while this is being resolved.”

Around 1 hour and half since the official release and just a few lucky players managed to login.

Final update. The game can be played right now. No issues when trying to pass the login screen.
