Those who don’t want to bother with selling items for real money as sometimes you just have to put an item in auction house for weeks until someone will buy it, can now sell in-game gold for real money.
The option is now available within Auction House, you need to switch to RMAH (Euro for Europe), select gold, enter an amount (eg. 1). You will see how much 100.000 gold costs. Right now is 0,33 euro.
Notice that you need to purchase gold of at least 1 euro, that means at least 4×100.000, meaning 400.000 gold.
1 million gold is 3,30 euro.
Things that you need to know. To sell gold, select the “sell” tab from the right window, near your gold, click on the “auction hammer”, a default amount will appear in the middle zone of the interface.
Select 1 euro for 100.000 gold, you will have to confirm your auction by SMS, you will receive a code that needs to be entered after you have clicked to create the auction.
If you don’t enter the code very fast, the auction will fail.
For 1 euro, you will receive less than 20 euro cents because of the auction fees.
So if you do a full ACT 2 run on inferno and you end up with around 400.000 gold, you will get around 20-30 euro cents which is a very low amount.
This of course depends if good gear drops and you sell that gear for at least 200.000 gold, the amount of real money will increase.
