We have a partial release date for Crysis 3. Electronic Arts has announced that they will release the game somewhere in 2013, next year, the game is still being developed by the Germans from Crytek and will use an advanced version of CryENGINE (the graphic engine).
The action of the game will take place in 2047, the main character will be “Prophet”, the fans were surprised to see him again instead of Nomad.
Seems that the Cell corporation has created a Nanodom around New York. Inside this Nanodom, there are 7 distinct zones also known as “wonders”, the environment being rich of tropical plants, woods, rivers, something like a real jungle.
Prophet will fight against the Cell corporation that are interested to use the alien technology called “Ceph”.
Crysis 3 will be available on Origin (EA’s version of Steam), the game will also be available in “Hunter edition” where Prophet will use an efficient bow as a weapon and he will receive XP bonus for multiplayer until level 5.
Even though some will say that the bow is an outdated weapon for 2047, it could be very efficient for stealth missions.
Notice that the “Hunter” mode and the bow will only be available for those that will pre-order the game before the initial release.
