Blizzcon 2011 footage available on Battle.net, opening ceremony

22.10.2011

The opening ceremony that lasted around one hour and a half is now available for free on battle.net in high quality. How to watch the recorded stream?

Go here, it is the official Blizzcon 2011 Live Stream page. Be sure to be logged in your Battle.net account, free battle.net accounts can also be created for those that don’t have an account.

The opening ceremony is probably the most important event at Blizzcon. Mike Morhaime and Chris Metzen were the first on the stage to announce what this year’s Blizzcon was about, they gave details about the new Starcraft 2 addon, Heart of the Swarm, Diablo 3, Blizzard DotA, World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria, PVP and PVE tournaments etc.

An important news for the Diablo 3 fans is that the future game will be free within the World of Warcraft Annual Pass system. Players can buy a full 12 months subscription to World of Warcraft and receive Diablo 3 for free when it will be launched. They will also get 100% access to World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria beta when it will start and also a cool World of Warcraft in-game mount named Tyrael’s Charger.

The annual pass can be bought right now on Battle.net here. Sadly, not all the countries are eligible for this offer, some players might get this error message “No Eligible Accounts Available” even though they have a World of Warcraft account and they are already paying for the game.
